jessefreeman asked: I know it varies, but in general, how long does the process of putting something out on vinyl take? From the band recording, to it getting sent out to kids and record stores. Always been curious. Also when can we expect State Lines preorders to go up?

Yeah, it really does vary. In fact, it varies wildly at times from record to record. If the recorded mixes jive with mastering for vinyl than it is usually a pretty seamless process to get the vinyl into production. But then sometimes you have to wait on artwork/layouts to get done as well.

Just to give you an idea, State Lines for example, those guys finished recording/mixing the EP mid January. We are pretty close to confirming the artwork/layout for the 7” and getting that into production. And the songs have been sent off for vinyl mastering and if that goes off without a hitch I would expect pre-orders in early-to-mid April. So, for them, fingers crossed, the process would have taken 3 (ish) months.
