Tiny Engines is excited to announce that it has joined No Idea Records as part of the long-running Gainesville, FL label’s exclusive distribution arm. Founded in 2008, Tiny Engines is a Carolina-based independent label that has released records from Tigers Jaw, Restorations, Dikembe, Look Mexico, Run Forever, Signals Midwest, State Lines and more. Striving for innovation, creativity and most importantly, inspiring music, Tiny Engines has always fostered a tight-knit community of friends and artists and continues to embody strong DIY ethics and an undying punk rock spirit.

No Idea Records is a legendary punk rock label and distributor which started as a fanzine in 1985, later releasing its first 7” in 1988. It has issued landmark albums from Hot Water Music, Against Me, Less Than Jake and many more. Additionally, No Idea is a highly regarded mail order company and exclusively distributes a wide range of labels, including the likes of Don Giovanni, Asian Man, Dirtnap, Salinas, Recess, It’s Alive, Poison City, and 1234Go! amongst others.

Tiny Engines had this to say of the union: “When it came down to looking for better distribution for our label and bands, there was only one place where we felt it would be an absolutely perfect fit for everyone, and that was No Idea. Their ideals and the way they do business and treat others is exactly in line with the standards to which we hold of ourselves at Tiny Engines. To not only join No Idea, but other exclusive labels such as Asian Man, Don Giovanni and Poison City … it has us extremely excited, to say the least. Our records will now be available worldwide at a low cost from some of the best DIY / punk distributors and independent stores out there. We are humbled that No Idea has invited us to join its tight-knit family and we can’t wait to start working together to keep Tiny Engines and its bands thriving for the foreseeable future.”
